MVG Mainz once again chooses ATRON's sales and accounting system
Munich, February 10, 2010 - The Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft (Mainz Transport Company, MVG) will continue to put their trust in ATRIES as central sales and accounting system. The high-performance ATRON software solution covers all sales channels of the MVG and provides all data necessary for efficient planning and control of the transport company.
The MVG uses ATRIES as central background software and data hub. The data exchange with the background systems of all sales devices as well as to the neighbouring systems (e. g. main accounting) is carried out via standardised import and export interfaces. Thus, ATRIES fits into the existing system landscape without any difficulties - independent of the front-end manufacturer the transport company chooses today or will choose in future.

Thanks to its modular structure, ATRIES can be expanded flexibly and at any time. It is already planned to add the sales module Subscription administration to the system of MVG Mainz. If the transport company decides to take this step at a later time, the system is already well-equipped for the introduction of E-ticketing according to the VDV-Kernapplikation. ATRIES presents itself as a future-oriented software solution, which guarantees a high degree of investment security over many years.
Extensive functionality and high reliability together with an excellent price-performance ratio have made ATRIES one of the leading background system in public transport. In the current version, which is being implemented at MVG Mainz, ATRIES has accommodated the latest requirements of the market. Other transport companies have already expressed their interest in the MVG-solution.
