Information management software for transport companies
With ATRIES as so-called background system, the complete Electronic Fare Management of a transport company can be mapped. ATRIES provides different modules and evaluation possibilities for E-ticketing. The VDV core application (Kernapplikation), the German standard for electronic ticketing, is supported as well as international interoperability standards, such as RKF and Handbook 206.
The advantage of ATRIES is its modular construction, which facilitates software upgrades. Thus, the system can also be adjusted to new developments in the field of E-ticketing.
Smart card initialisation and administration, transaction control as well as exchange of association data are important ATRIES-functions for E-ticketing.
ATRON on-board computers
ATRON on-board computers have all E-ticketing functions which are required in the vehicle. Besides the display of the ticket, this also includes the so-called qualified inspection for space-related, fare-related and time-related characteristics. The on-board computers control the smart-card terminals and provide them with data.
ATRON smart card terminals
The ATRON smart card terminals can be used in the mobile vehicle area in combination with the on-board computer. As independent devices, they can be mounted wherever they are easily accessible for the customers. In stationary use in advance sale centres, the terminals can be connected to a PC. The ATRON smart card terminals are suitable for all levels of electronic ticketing and are compatible with VDV core application and comparable standards.
Mobile control devices
For the inspection of electronic tickets, the mobile handheld computer can be used. It can also be used to record FFE-incidents and to keep blocking lists for smart cards. Furthermore, classic paper tickets can be sold via a compact, external printer.
Ticket vending machines
All ticket vending machines integrated in the ATRON DEBAS system support EFM. Thus, tickets can be issued electronically or the purse on the smart card can be loaded. Depending on the model, it is also possible to issue smart-cards.
